OBJECTIVE
|
|
To ensure that policies, strategic plans, regulations and programs of the Ministry and its Agencies are properly planned and formulated based on Cabinet decisions. |
|
|
To ensure that the preparation of feedbacks, inputs and briefs to other Ministries concerning international matters related to the Ministry and its Agencies are coordinated within a fixed period. |
|
|
To ensure efficient and effective coordination of the Ministry’s public relation affairs, official events, promotions, publicity and image upgrading. |
|
|
To ensure that secretarial tasks concerning the Ministry’s activities under the responsibility of the Division are carried out efficiently and effectively. | FUNCTION

|
To coordinate the planning and formulation of policies, strategic plans, regulations and programs of the Ministry and its agencies based on Cabinet decisions. |
|
|
To manage and coordinate the preparation and review of the Ministry’s strategic plans. |
|
|
To monitor the implementation of programs, strategic plans, regulations and programs by the Ministry and its agencies. |
|
|
To coordinate the preparation of feedbacks on Cabinet decisions concerning the Ministry and its agencies. |
|
|
To coordinate the preparation of comments on other Ministries’ Cabinet papers. |
|
|
To coordinate the preparation of feedbacks, inputs and briefs to other Ministries on international matters related to the Ministry and its Agencies. |
|
|
To coordinate public relation affairs and official events of the Ministry. |
|
|
To coordinate the promotion, publicity and image upgrading of the Ministry. |
|
|
To act as secretariat for the Ministry’s activities under the responsibility of the Division. |
|
|
To coordinate Parliamentary tasks based on regulations and procedures |

CLIENT'S CHARTER
We are committed to provide quality, efficient and effective services. We will ensure that:

Draft of Cabinet papers to be circulated will be prepared within two (2) weeks in accordance with the Cabinet Secretariat Directive No. 1/2000. |
|
|
Cabinet Paper will be forwarded to the Cabinet Secretariat within one (1) week from the date all comments are received. |
|
|
Feedbacks/ reports on Cabinet decisions will be forwarded to the Cabinet Secretariat within two (2) weeks. |
|
|
Preparation of feedbacks, inputs and briefs to other Ministries on international matters related to the Ministry and its Agencies will be coordinated within five (5) days. |
|
|
Meeting notices and papers will be sent to members at the latest seven (7) days before the date of the meeting. |
|
|
Preparation of answers to Parliamentary questions will be coordinated within three (3) days. |
|
|
Preparation of inputs for the Ministry’s debate summary speech will be coordinated within two (2) days. |
|
|
To prepare monitoring reports on printed and electronic media coverage once a month. |
|
|
To send out acknowledgments on all types of complaints received from the Ministry’s clients within three (3) days. |
|
|
To send out feedbacks on complaints made through “Letter To PM” portal within three (3) working days. |
|
|
To send out initial feedbacks on other complaints within 14 days. |
|
|
To inform clients on the status of other complaints within two (2) months. |
|
|
To coordinate and implement the “Meet The NRE Clients” activity at least six (6) times a year. |
|
|
To prepare “Notes To The Editor” at least two (2) days before the actual function/ event. |
