Kuala Lumpur, 21 July – The 3rd National Geographic Information System (GIS) Conference and Exhibition is a program that congregate the GIS community in various government agency, university and private sector in Malaysia. The conference was officiated by Y.Bhg Datuk Suboh bin Mohd Yassin, Secretary General , Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (NRE) on behalf of Y.B. Datuk Douglas Uggah Embas, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment on 21 July 2008 at Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC), Kuala Lumpur.
